Meet Our Staff

  • Dr. Anthony Sementa

    Dr. Anthony M. Sementa grew up in Lombard and has been practicing here since receiving his degree   from Creighton University School of Dentistry in 1987.  He is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Chicago Dental Society as well as the Illinois State Dental Society and American Dental Association.  He enjoys playing an active role the community by being a committee member for Tri-Town YMCA and the Lombard Chamber of Commerce.

  • Ofelia Ruiz - Dental Assistant

    Ofelia grew up here in Lombard and started working for Dr. Sementa while she was a junior at Glenbard East.  After graduating high school, she received her dental assisting certification from Morton College in 1993.  In 2013, Ofelia attended Illinois College of Nursing in Lombard and received her LPN Degree.  She works weekends as a nurse in a memory care and assisted living community. She has 3 children and many pets.  In her spare time, she likes to watch scary movies and crime dramas.

  • Christie Roos - Dental Assistant

    Christie grew up in Villa Park and has been working for Dr. Sementa since 1997.  She graduated from Elmhurst college with a bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology in 1999.  After working with Doctor Sementa while attending college, she realized her passion was in dentistry.  In her free time, she likes to work out, decorate cakes , and travel with her husband and two sons.

  • Katie Lynn Cherry

    Katie grew up in Elwood, Illinois and recently joined the Sementa Dental family in 2023. She graduated from the dental hygiene program at Prairie State College in 2012. She takes pride in building trust and strong relationships with her patients to provide superior dental care. In 2021, Katie earned her registered Yoga teacher training certificate. In her spare time, she loves teaching yoga, traveling with her family, and being a cat mom.
